Zoey and I were finally able to see Elodie. The surgery went smoothly, and she won’t even need a new hairstyle—they did an excellent job. She’s in some pain, but that’s to be expected. An MRI is scheduled later today to ensure everything looks good. The nurse caring for Elodie is very kind and even took the time to explain to Zoey how IVs work, showing her how an IV catheter functions.
